Ergoflex Mattress Review 2019

Ergoflex has been helping customers sleep soundly for over ten years and this high density memory foam offers pressure relief and high quality materials.

Offering versatility in different sleeping surfaces through open-cell foam layers, this spring free, memory foam, mattress cradles and supports sleepers which a natural Tencel cover aids with air flow. The mattress is supportive, soft and has been clinically proven to aid with back pain.

It’s more expensive than other mattresses in a box but the quality is superior.

Ergoflex Mattress Review

Unlike many other mattress in a box products, the Ergoflex can’t be customised by flipping top foam layers meaning you’re stuck with the standard configuration.

However don’t be put off by this, aside from being one of the easiest mattresses to inflate out of the box, they provide an outer Tencel cover that helps provide a cool sleeping feel. If you live in a warmer location this can be pretty handy and also allows you to wash it too.

After a few weeks of using the mattress the top layer feels supportive on the back and spine. The mattress claims to help with backpain and joint pain so may suit older sleepers who are experiencing sleeping issues.

During our testing we found that this mattress caused little partner disturbance.

This is a perfect mattress for anyone who may have considered a more expensive mattress such as Sleeping Duck but want a harder mattress that will form around your body as it heats up. If you want a softer mattress then you may wish to consider the Sleeping Duck or HappySleep.

If you’re on a tight budget there are many more cheaper boxed mattresses to consider.

However, the Ergoflex mattress placed highly in our Best Boxed Mattress for 2019.

Ergoflex Review Verdict

The Ergoflex mattress arrived the day after ordering, we ordered on a Monday afternoon and this was a fast delivery to central Melbourne. The mattress was quite heavy but the box was easy to lift into the apartment and expand out where we wanted it to be placed.

As with all boxed mattresses there was a slight smell but this was unnoticeable within a few hours.

As this is a memory foam mattress, it lacks springs and is quite firm.

As your body heats up you start to sink into the mattress and your body forms around it. Despite the numerous reviews about helping with back pain it should be noted that this may aid or contribute to it and you’ll need to test it out for yourself.

The Ergoflex can’t be customised like some other boxed mattresses and at the price tag it’s a question you’ll need to ask yourself. Do you want to be able to change the firmness yourself or are you happy with one style?

With a 30 night trial it’s the shortest in the mattress industry but is backed by a long warranty from a company that’s been trading since 2006.
